Origin –The vintage town of Mahansar, located in the Shekhawati
region of Rajasthan, is famous for its heritage and captivating charm. Among its many treasures,

Maharao Shekhaji (1433-1488 AD) was the founder of the shekhawati region of
Rajasthan. He originally divided Shekhawati into 33 thikanas (also called pargana). Shekhawati
located in the north-eastern part of Rajasthan, holds a rich historical legacy known as the open
art gallery of Rajasthan, Shekhawati is known for its beautiful painted havelies, frescos and
murals depicting tales of valor. Shekhawati is in the Thar desert of Rajasthan and has a
special importance in the history of india. Shekhawati was on the trade route between the ports
of the Arabian sea and the fertile ganges valley and was the meeting point of camel caravans
from the middle east china and india.
Mahansar fort was established in 1768 by Rajshree Thakur Shree Nahar Singh Ji, Mahansar
heritage liqueurs were originally started for royal gatherings and festivities across royal
houses of rajasthan. Commercial production of Mahansar heritage liquers was first done by
Raj Shree Thakur Durjan Saal Singh Ji in the year 1890 AD. Famous for its medicinal and
aphrodisiac values, it gained popularity among all major royal households of india. Rajshree
